Feature Requests / Guild Locations

On the order locations page for guilds and religions it lists all the meeting places with the name of the region it is in, good stuff.  Adding the realm name the region is in, awesome....  Thats all  :)

BM General Discussion / Re: Rules of conduct with OOC friends
« on: August 13, 2011, 12:41:39 AM »
I've played with friends since they recruited me to play in the first place. As Tom said, it's more about the spirit of things. As long as you are not abusing your OOC connections in some way, such as by planning a rebellion completely OOC, you are doing fine. I have forged both alliances and enmities with characters belonging to players I know IRL. I have also made numerous friends among players who I do not know IRL. At times my IG and OOG friends even clash, but I never side with one or the other just because of OOC considerations.

In general, knowing someone IRLisn't much different than the way that many players talk to each other on IRC or other OOC communication mediums. It has the same potential pitfalls. If you are mature and make a conscious effort to do the right thing, you'll be hard pressed to do wrong.

HAHA, so says my roommate.  I can't believe I randomly came across this on the forum that is hysterical.  When he says OOC friends clashing with IC friends he means me, I'm a bit of a bitch :)  I use each of my characters to enhance an aspect of my personality or make a new one so in some cases our characters do have some good fun together and other times they are accusing the other of being an enemy spy.  Bringing the people in game into the middle of you and your friends crap doesn't exclude them from the fun, it enhances it.  It makes in game stuff even more fun knowing eachother OOC.  If at any point you think you might be having a debateable conversation you probably are.

I have played the adventurer class a lot for a long time, my main adventurer has been around for a few years and has been straight gathering for most of that time.  I find that if you start at 0 fatigue 13 hour searches are pretty good at avoiding fatigue.  Follow with 7 hours in a tent and your ready to go again.  Changing your search type is good depending on what your searching for.  If you don't care what you find then go pretty and plenty and you'll find more stuff.  If your going for a specific item you need to figure out if its common, pretty and plenty, or rare, so do a rare search.  Hell you can even find rare items doing pretty and plenty so its not like it completely destroys your chances, just greatly reduces them :)

And yes I have a huge list of items on my character even with using a bunch over the years to create and repair magic items.

True, I've been checking him out he is pretty big.  I've mostly been putting everything into Arcs for like the last week, but at this point I do have a number of planets.  Perhaps we should all put everything into building nasty fleets for the next week or two so we can be ready for anything near us?

But without being able to control what your merchants buy how do you consolidate your resources at your capital where you want to build the arcs?

I have a ton of merchantmen and bulk freighters I made the first couple of turns and sent out, I have not seen anything cool happen with them yet.  They took like 4 days getting somewhere and bought 150 steel, yea woo ::)

I wish it had turns like Battlemaster because twice a day would be twice as cool :D

Also, KingDante and Fodder, you two are the only people around me.  Is there anything going on you need help with?  Is anyone messing with you or did you want to mess with anyone?

I agree Gustav which is why I posted the what the hell is this comment.  But apparently they don't want others knowing what is so we can let them play by themselves.
