« on: February 22, 2016, 09:35:06 AM »I've finally come to the conclusion that BM has simply fallen out of my day-to-day routine with the changes in my real life. Nothing to do with the game itself, but I don't see myself coming back in the foreseeable future.
However, before I go, I would like to say thank you to the devs and the players for many years of fun! I'll probably still pop in the forums occasionally and if the message system decides to properly send me emails, I'm totally willing to make banners still.
You'll be missed!

Oh yes, definately. We all make that mistake once, I guess. In this case it's huge because it's about Isadril.
Eppy makes a habit out of it to search for regions that can be bought - or at least it happens a lot.

Look like we gonna end up with more and more regions suppose in Duchy B but belong to Duchy A. Unless we ask the region lord to step down before we appoint as duke. Unless we ask the new region lord to change allegiance from Duchy A to Duchy B. Hmmmm, I need play the fealty mechanics here if that is the case.
Dukes can use their influence to sway lords to their own Duchies. I've seen it happen.
It's a quite more realistic then to have Dukes just change regions back and forth from duchy A to B without Lords having a say. And it is a great opening from some game- and roleplay I guess.

Yes Vix declared intent to get to Nivemus. In the revised version.
Vix and Nivemus are obviously not in a war state on paper because it's impossible due to other alliances. But again Nivemus failed to even give notice of their attack on Brive.

I do think it's the Lord's decision, not the Duke's.
When the Duke (Duchy A) becomes Lord of a region in another Duchy (B), it will become part of his own Duchy (A) though, I think. At least I've had the case that when being lord in duchy B, then being appointed as duke of duchy A, the region obviously joined duchy A as well.
Is this at all clear?

I would have expected Nivemus to bring more to the field, so this could actually be a real war. But now it'll be like Indirik describes, not much of a war.
