I could see that phone app being popular instead of the m.battlemaster.org site, of course I don't own a smartphone, so I'm just guessing what I'd use if I had one.

I thought it was sublime. I saw the video last night and I fell for it hook line and sinker! Felt rather silly once the alarm went up here in the forums!

Tee hee (hentai style), I chastised Ironsides for raising the alarm, the better to watch people fall for it!  Also much more fun to tongue in cheek sell the prank.

Who else is excited about this!  I knew Tom was under an NDA before for some secret project, but with the Dev package in the mail he can finally tell us all what it is!  I don't think this post can have enough exclamation points!

One thing's for certain.. I'm done with using Cavalry. They suck. Always get ripped apart even with good settings! >.>

Well, I don't think they suck.  The defenders were using box too, but since the attackers didn't have a whole lot of archers and the defenders forced the attackers to sit in a lot of withering archer fire for so long that the Cav took losses.  Really, the biggest problem was that the Cav didn't get to charge.  A lot of units broke out of their defensive position and stopped them from charging, negating the hit boost.

That could've been fixed by a Cav Charge, or the all out charge opening by the attackers, but you didn't have a huge amount of Cav that could've stood up to an infantry wall defense for at least one round.  So it was a lose lose for the attackers that time.

While it was a good win, the Southerners still have an advantage. Perdan did a really good job on their attack in the North, and the Nivemus military did a really bad job of defending against it. And now we are paying the price for it.

I think you'll be surprised to see how much the disparity in CS loss really was.  PMW's raid while successful won't really do too much in the end.  The real trick will be once the war starts being fought on the PWA lands not on NS lands.  Then the damage will be done there instead.

Muwahhaah 9932 hits in one combat!

Gotta say we haven't had one of these epic battles in a very long time.

P.S Interestingly, I've only gained 2 honour... wth...

They were so kind to setup in a box formation weren't they?  Gregor even warned them against it.  But they didn't really listen.

Edit: My poor close combat SF only got to do 3925 in 5 rounds.

There were ~5.5k CS that didn't make it for the attackers, but they were still outnumbered.  Modifying apparent CS for the deceptive win! Also, utilizing your archers!

Gregor's lucky he gets that much.  Backstabbing, politicking, habitual liar that he is. =p

I'll give you the backstabbing and politicking but he almost never lies. =)

Can't honestly recall if Gregor was wounded by an Infy or a skirmish that knocked him out of Dukeship of Westmoor, which allowed me to quickly set up loyalists over the duchy.

I've almost been knocked out of positions due to preaching incidents as well.  Damned Flowists.

It was a skirmish, but an infiltraitor wound a few weeks earlier almost did it.  Fairly certain Jor ordered that one ;).

The prophet fame for 'successful' religions.  The first being one of the Ruler for X days fame points (which I might be missing sadly since all my long lived rulers were a long time ago *sigh* Stuck at #2 for now)

Former Dukes and Lords in general are generally continued to be called Lord by my characters.  Unless they don't like them, then they're just Sir or Dame.

And if his character really dislikes you he calls you by your first name.

Newbie Board / Economy.php and Workshops

This may seem a bit silly coming from me, but I have  region where when I was first appointed I could build all the different workshops (it's a city).  A bit rashly I built a tournament grounds, an academy, and a granary.

Well my region had a population of 10 and as you can imagine they all fell apart.  Now however, when I try to build I am only given the option of building a cart builder.  (I rebuilt the granary after it fell apart, it's now at 25% damage though it doesn't seem to be increasing much anymore now that pop is up to >2000).

Any ideas why I can't build more things, should I just wait for more peasants to come to the city?

=) Magna Serpaensism didn't suck!  Look at how lively that made the game for a while.  Shame you can't have hidden temples.  Ooo! New idea for a feature!

As for how to make religion fun, find an enemy and pound on it.  Make stories about the gods interacting with the priests.  Show how it becomes part of the culture.  If people aren't upset about your religion you're probably doing something wrong as its too bland and boring.
