JPierreD, any idea how I can find your colony? I don't know of any world maps of this game. I'm way far north, near the polar caps. Not sure if my character could live in the south. I skipped out on my colony, not sure if I will go back.

What is the name of your parent colony?

Travelling is tough in the game. You'd need to make a canoe out of reed (there are probably other materials you can make it from) and sail through the seven seas. :p

I'd add in the 'moot as a whole, even if I wouldn't qualify the individual realms in it as such. We did get all of these people to band against Aurvandil, after all. But yea.

The 'moot as a whole doesn't fit the requirements you listed for someone to be considered a power. Either that, or Madina fits as well.

Well, there are many colonies, most do not even know of the existence of each other, so don't think it's everywhere like that. I have even started a Dwarven colony myself and been having children (will keep having them, so hopefully I'll get a BMer or two), but so far almost all of them have been inactive ones.

The most vocal FTO community has deep and serious welcoming problems. They were for too long a static and unchanging group, and they don't have a Tom to keep jerks at bay.

The solution? Just mingle with those you like, and ignore the others. No use in fighting.

I'd say Battlemaster expresses the exact same thing Blood & Power suggests. Blood will invoke in most people the idea of fighting or Battle. Power is more likely to suggest something other then fighting, but when you pair it with Blood I'd say its no different from implying that being a Master of Battle gives you Power through Blood.

It also sounds kind flat compared to Battlemaster, but I guess I'm partial to the name already.

I have nothing better to suggest though, so I suppose my opinion on that only goes so far.

Blood has the double signification of blood lines and nobility, and of battle and bloodshed. And power, well, speaks for itself.

It might be a good idea to make Beluaterra the magic island. Make scrolls of all kinds more easily available, turning them into a semi-important part of the game.

In any case, being a "power", in my mind, implies the ability to project one's aspirations abroad. Thulsoma could also defend themselves quite well, but I'd never have qualified them as a power.

What Madina could achieve or not when cornered doesn't interest me as far as which realms are "powers", but rather what they can pull themselves to achieve purely on their own. And Madinians agreeing to getting anything done, without being forced by external factors, was quite a rare feat. As such, D'Hara has long regarded Madina as being a low threat, because the odds of them attacking were small, and the odds of them maintaining a long campaign were even smaller. If we worked on minimizing the odds of a conflict arising, it was mostly out of the now-proven-correct fear that the Lurias could and would attack us while at our weakest.

Who's a power under such values? Morek, Astrum and Aurvandil only?

Unbridled Ambitions will not be remembered by most players.
Coat of Arms seems like a heraldry game/program.
Border Princes is a very good name, but for a barbarians/Conan theme.
Blood and Power indeed seems like a very good name for BattleMaster. Would be my choice.
Crowns of Legend would imply a different focus than BM's. More into the epic field. I personally don't favor it, as we know that the more you say "epic" the less it means.

This is almost entirely accurate. I've described him in the past as being unassuming, of pale complexion, with short cropped hair and the kind of detached, easy demeanor of someone who spends most of his life in his own mind. I know that's not really what Steve Buscemi is playing in Boardwalk Empire, but the picture captures it. In fact, I'd say that Nucky Thompson (the character in the series) perfectly encapsulates Hrok.

True, but he's much less ruthless than Hrok, and more of a charismatic people's person. That's why I thought about Malus.

I'd change the feature request it so that a Lord needs to approve, not a King. You become a Knight after all, so the oath-swearing should be part of it.

Except in this one they really have no problem murdering your character if they decide you don't fit in.
