Dwilight / Re: Aetheris Pyrism

I am confident in my abilities to preform numerous personal tactical withdrawals whilst 'directing' said Holy War ;)

I was going to wittingly respond asking, "Would you declare a holy war on your own religious sect?" since, to Katerina's knowledge, Torpius wants to integrate the Path of the Gods in Aetheris Pyrism. I then thought to myself, this will just give you more incentive to call him a heretic, since he's "bending" the true beliefs of the PotG.

XD Holy war it is then!

Indeed.  Koli did not particularly want to make a bigger mess than already existed, but he did need to rule on the situation as Prophet.  So, he tried to keep the matter contained within the Path and spoke very clearly in his religious capacity rather than political.  It's not an easy dance, being a Lurian politician.

Like a dance on a bed of nails, more or less.

As a fairly new player myself, I only heard about this game through an IRL friend; nowhere else. When he told me about the RP involved, functions, interactions, etc... I was drawn in immediately.
One factor that stood out, was the player dedication to enforce RP, and the willingness to help one another. (On Dwilight and FE anyways.) I've played RP games before, but they've always become an upset, because nobody plays within the rules set upon them. >:(. Peer enforcement, in my opinion, is very uncommon, and everyone here should pat themselves on the back, especially Tom.

Now, I'm addicted, and attempting to integrate myself in the community as best as I can. (PeL <3, I will always be your archivist  ;D.)

In summary: Advertise the community, because it's fantastic.

I think that was because you were using the Realmbox/Sandbox template instead of the plain Realmbox one. I've changed it to the regular template and it seems to have vanished.

It was there before I began my initial edits, but thanks :).

(And sorry for the 2nd post, should have just added it with an edit XD)

What about removing the addition to the bottom of the box? The one that gives the supposed "realm location"?

I have inputted large amounts of work into improving and revamping the Pian en Luries page, http://wiki.battlemaster.org/wiki/Pian_en_Luries, but have run into problems concerning the {Realm Box}. I've been trying to have the realm box show the map, and in my attempts, I have copied the |Maprealm = | from Terran/Caerwyn pages, appropriately renamed the map name (PeL, Pian en Luries, PianenLuries, Pian, etc...) and I simply cannot, for the life of me, get it to work. I was thinking the naming was wrong, but I've tried everything (including the file path that shows at the bottom of the box, on the finished page.) Forgive me for my inane knowledge of the wiki, if this is a simple wording issue, but I would appreciate help :).

SA in general doesn't really have an opinion on Amaury one way or another. Really, it has no reason to do so. Amaury has never come into conflict with SA, nor has he really done anything to extraordinary to help it. True, he is friendly toward SA, to a point. But it's not like he threw LN open to hordes of SA priests to come convert them all to to the Stars.

Now, if what you really meant was "I would be interested in how the various SA-aligned realms regard Amaury.", that's a different question.

Astrum has a generally positive feeling toward Amaury. He helped us fight against the Averothians. And he has provided political support to us in our war with Caerwyn.
I don't think that any of the SA-aligned realms have any reason to think that.

It hardly matters now.  :D

I wonder how SA regards Fulco, especially with the disposition of Amaury.

Rage quit!  ;D

"All that was left of him was his trademark maroon cape. Sebastian immediately sent men down to scour the area for his body, but the waves would have claimed it long before they reached the water. And as if the gods had taken him themselves, so did Amaury Capet vanish off the face of the earth..."

Or did he?  ;)

The computer is often smarter than the friend?

The computer doesn't get angry/upset when defeated? Inflicting emotions?

Why? It's not as if PC armies were always that smart...

Feeling of superiority over PC armies? Difference between winning at checkers v.s the computer or the friend.

"Rebellion in Pian en Luries   (11 minutes ago)
A rebellion is breaking out in Pian en Luries. Earlier today, Alanna Anaris has called for an uprising against the current government. Details are still sketchy."

haha thats just hilarious.

The rebellion is still continuing. The loyalist forces are apparently getting the situation under control."

Don't worry, take a deep breath.  :D

BM General Discussion / Re: New Island Ideas
« on: August 16, 2011, 02:55:05 AM »
Frankly, there is still many regions in Dwilight to be conquered, as previously stated, I mean Darfyx, the largest city, and the entire North-West corner is empty.  You've also got a nice chunk of land in the mid east vacated; be a good place to stir up conflicts  ;). It just might take you a while to get something started...

In regards to the topic at hand, a semi-large island, impossible to emigrate to, and "seemingly" barren besides the structures of cities and some kind of human population. Sort of a "Garden of Eve" ideology, with some sort of twist. Like a F.E concept, but extremely more subtle. In the medieval era, it was commonly thought that the Garden of Eve was a place of utopia. What would happen if nobles had actually existed in Utopia? Dystopia, and I want it  :'(.
