Atamara / Re: Are Things Actually Happening?
« on: August 01, 2015, 08:47:48 AM »
If that's what you feel my campaign was, then you failed at reading comprehension. If you read my character's arguments for cutting ties and getting into a war, it was clearly stated that he believed the realm was dying slowly of stagnation and the realm was growing soft from its continued reliance on others. It was entirely about ensuring CE remained strong in and of itself.
I feel that is a very fair IC argument for your cause however insults never aid an argument so please keep them off the forum. Explain your viewpoint without causing trouble as no one likes it when moderator action is needed.

Err...I'm getting a "500 Internal Server Error" when I try to view my shop's status.

And I have 5 parties in my shop right now  ;D
That also occurs when trying to buy more goods. However, you can still sell goods to characters. Cant do anything with it atm, nor see how much precisely I have but just got about 500 gold from the 3 parties visiting me. :)

I have had some similar misfortune on not getting customers. As well, when looking at Provision Division and Tamilfist Knights I tried looking at their quest log. Looking at either gives me a 500 Internal Server error. Other parties I am able to look at their quests.

Occurred at I believe server time 6:36.

And then I went and looked at the other thread where Tom states he already knew about this and fixed it on future logs. Unfortunately I will never know what they failed at doing to make them so angry with me.

Hmmm, I can do it through my iPad, but not through the Mac... Used same key on both. Under 'your account' it does tell me (on both) that I have the key for my shop...

Looks like I needed to clear out my history... All sorted now.
It saved your old one though that also has the same name of your new one. The old shop wouldn't work with the new town, thus the issue on your Mac.

Unfortunately, mobile browsers don't support the tag needed to hide the inactive button. Foundation implemented it as a quick fix a couple years ago. It may be possible to do it better, with more effort.
Thats not true as I checked the mobile website to see what you are talking about. That is on BM's end as I just use the regular BM site on my phone and it works just fine, its only a problem on the mobile site.

Dwilight: I don't know what the situation was like when you left so I will give a somewhat full explanation.

All the western realms are dead as a monster invasion (not like BT) took over the western half of Dwilight to up density. Madina has recently been reborn sort of. There was a war of all of Dwilight except Swordfell and Luria vs Luria. Its been a but of stalemate but they made heavy advances against Fissoa which resulted in them surrendering. Fissoa city was forced to secede becoming Fissoa while the old Fissoa has been converted to Madina.

Astrum, D'hara, and Morek are still at war with Luria still. Morek has had 3 secessions and is now a fraction of the size. Astrum has been attempting to reclaim some of the rogue lands, including its southern island it held in the past.

Corsanctum died when the monster invasion happened as Asylon invaded and Astrum took over both realms.

As well, SA has crumbled. I think when I left it only had 40 members. It is being replaced by Ecclesial Sanguisastroism, a spinoff that believed SA was being corrupted. Enshrines Malus and Pierre I believe as prophets as well as interprets past texts a bit different with an emphasis on balance such that both peace and war have their own time and does not discourage war among faithful like SA did.

Feature Requests / Visibility Option On Referendums

Visibility Option On Referendums

Referendums made for only dukes or lords to vote in are only shown to that group. It may be desirable to allow the entire realm to see, perhaps all the lords to see a ducal vote, or to ensure dukes that are not lords are able to see referendums.

Details: Another selector when initiating a referendum to select who can see the referendum. Voters can always see the referendum of course. Default is always just the voters.

Benefit: Able to include more of the realm in what is going on in realms where either dukes or lords are the primary decision makers.

Possible Exploits or Downsides: None that I can think of.

Feature Requests / Peasant Militia Spawning Lowers Control
« on: July 02, 2015, 08:24:14 AM »
Title: Peasant militia spawning lowers control

Summary: When peasant militia spawn it is evident the realm does not have great control over the region as the peasants are having to take matters in to there own hands.

Details: Precisely as stated in the summary. This comes from the fact that I just saw a peasant militia form due to looting and yet the region still has core control. An additional consideration is possibly only doing this when control is at core or the next one down (I think its main) so as not to penalize twice for a bunch of looting that then further lowers control although perhaps that is not terrible.

Benefits:Events have their logical consequences so that games stats match what is going on. Further balances the fact realms don't necessarily have to defend against smaller looting forces.

Possible Downsides or Exploits: Already mentioned possible issue of getting the same penalty twice, first from the action causing the peasant militia then the spawn itself. Solution as stated above is possibly only giving this penalty when control is at core and main.

Penchant's Emporium of Battle and More needs to make improvements to beat Zakky. Some say sales techniques are whats needed, others think changing the name of the shop to "Better than Zakky's Gear Shop"  will help, that and maybe charging more to my loyal customers because obviously Zakky made a killing doing that.

As well, I think I am active enough to be able to handle my own shop but I am open to doing a shared shop with someone.

Helpline / Re: Can't edit estate

I had the same problem but I figured it was just a phone issue. I then took the estate and editing worked, thus it may be an issue with vacant estates.

Is maintenance daily or weekly? If daily, it seems too high.

Also, I want to add gossip as a feature. Temporary raising your shop marketing value - or reducing someone elses. There needs to be more interaction between the shops. Maybe even a little sabotage and theft.
One thing related to that I would like to see is being able to trade between shops. Maybe it turns out I bought too much leather armor so I sell it at a discount to another shop. Conversely perhaps a shop is in need of swords so I sell them one. Or perhaps I just need a little more gold to buy another section to my shop so I sell some goods to another shop.

As well, it would be very appreciated if the page that lists shop section pages got merged with page to buy shop sections.
