He's alive. Nothing to report for him because he's just sitting around doing nothing now that monster and undead hunting has given him enough gold to buy all his equipment to 100%.
Go become a wizard?

It gonna be same old peacelight after the war is over and probably a lot of people gonna quit the game. I am looking forward to that.  :-\
Why are you happy for people to quit the game? It seems quite a bad thing to me.

Okay, lets turn it around. How do you suggest making it more fun? Or rather what are you doing in-game now to make it more fun? I would like to listen to the other side of the story.

He is not in Dwilight.

To reply on OP:

First, Luria is hardly the underdog. Barca got control of a duchy of Luria's that was starved. In the mean time, Luria has jumped to 62, although now its down to 50. Sure its fighting an alliance of 3 realms, but none of those realms have massive armies whereas Luria does. They have a new general who doesn't seem to be making the best decisions (most recently attacking a region with the defenders having twice your combat strength) but you can't call a realm an underdog because of poor leadership.

Second, if Swordfell wanted to join the war to make the easiest win for them, its hard to say that attacking Luria is obviously the best decision considering Luria has a much larger army and is right next to them. The Southern League is not right next to Swordfell so they cant help a ton for defending Swordfell nor would they be able to attack them much if Swordfell sided with Luria.

Lastly, Swordfell hasn't done anything but get a new ruler thus far so it seems odd to say they sided with the Southern League all of a sudden.

South Island / Re: Everyone enjoying the new teamwork?

I've been the general in that position before. It's fun, but it's not... nearly as fun as being a marshal. So if I have a choice, I think for now I'd love to be a marshal again. But hey, if people need generals, why not?
Your style of being a general is not a common one unfortunately. I believe thats the way the general should be too, and the best example I have seen of it is Enzo Solari in Thalmarkin.

Personally I feel like too many don't understand the proper roles: General is strategy, Marshal is tactics. General gives broad orders to work on the bigger picture while Marshals deal with the details.

Too often I see the General giving out orders constantly, basically just being the realm's marshals except they maybe send the orders to the Marshals who then send it to the armies. With more than 1 army it can start to lead to burnout as the General and regardless of the number of armies, it makes the Marshal position suck because you aren't actually commanding your army, you are at best a parrot instead of a commander.

Development / Re: Why can't we use the command menu at sea?
« on: June 15, 2014, 08:32:24 AM »
I don't see why you aren't allowed to access the command menu while at sea. What if I wanted to step down as marshal or something? Is this possibly a bug or is it an intended feature?
It is intended. I will not comment on the reason for it as I am not sure I could say it in a non-negative way (hint, I don't care for the reason).

Having to mess with estates in WI is awful.
Care to elaborate? Whats the issue particularly with them on WI?

I refuse to relinquish my ability to reply to people who say silly things. If you want to yell at someone for bringing up Sartan, you should yell at Woefly.

Regardless, it seems we are actually capable of having a conversation without the mod hammer you guys wield too quickly too often. Can you guys relax a little until there is an actual NEED for your intervention?
Some Things:

1.Woelfy had no way of knowing there were IG issues, thus it is you that is trying to bring up issues that already happened again.

2. Talking about Sartan is not an issue, arguing about its validity in Sandalak or other continents when there were just OOC issues is.

3. No, waiting for !@#$ to go bad and people getting angry at each other is not the preferential moderator policy. Stopping things before they become an issue is.

4. You can tone down your complaints about not relaxing.

   (a) I or other mods could have easily justified deleting your post, because of Indirik's noted issue, but as well because you are insulting people in it, which is against forum policy.
   (b) You aren't seeing issues because of the work of the mods. I have been on this forum well over 2 years now and I know prior to this much more proactive moderating the forum was often full of very heated arguments with aggression on both sides.

When I am on IRC, I ask people why they don't go on the forums and they say its because of the issues in the past so they don't want worry about being attacked when they post or they just don't like the atmosphere because of issues like that.

I and I am rather sure the other moderators don't appreciate you constantly complaining about our evidently successful moderating policy. If you have an issue with a particular action, instead of complaining all around the forum, please send me or another mod a private message.

If you have an issue with what I said, feel free to send me a private message or see if you can catch me on IRC and talk about it there, but do not argue here. If you would like to have a discussion on moderator policy, I would not see an issue with creating a topic under the Community Section, "This Forum" board.

Development / Re: Drafting
« on: June 12, 2014, 08:24:40 AM »
I think Drafting should work differently. It seems you can draft indefinitely as long as you know how to do it well.

Why not make drafted units have very low training and morale? If the center has 70 training, maybe make drafted troops only have 7~14 training?
I have not seen it used much myself, although I understand where you are coming from on this.

Your solution with its current numbers would not work though and to be honest I don't see any working where there is a damage to stats. Not because it wouldn't make people want to use it all the time, quite the opposite.

If you damage the stats during a draft it loses its purpose. The only time I think it would be used is in realms completely running out of recruits, if stats are damaged.

"There aren't that many options?" There are no options!  :P

I have seen the HTML and the last line of the page is "You can also read the internal and the members only boards.", so no options at all.

I have searched in -Information- -Your Guilds- and I am an elder of the religion, so the religion "knows" my existence and don't collapse...

I'm thinking in pausing the character, wait a day, and un-pause it. Maybe this can solve the matter. And one day will not be enough for a religion to collapse, I suppose.  ???
Every temple and shrine goes down by a level, with those at level 1 being destroyed, so I don't recommend that as there is no grace period.

Wiki / Re: How to integrate the new South Island into the wiki
« on: June 09, 2014, 10:55:21 PM »
I have no help with the current problem but to fix it for new war islands a somewhat easy fix is coming up with new region names, which then would also mean new realm names.

58
Everyone would be busy taking over rogue regions around their border and building RCs and other infrastructure. So it'll be at least two weeks before some real battles begin. Keep up the infighting, Ikky and Sandy! :P
Seems you were a bit off there. Real armies don't wait around, they fight.

Helpline / Re: Realm control
« on: June 07, 2014, 10:01:28 PM »
Normal Police work, hanging rebels, and holding a harsh court all directly affect control. Loyalty (and maybe morale) affect control thus improving those stats can help improve control.
