Roleplaying / A Brother Lost

Iriene had been busy. She was constantly trying to write a missive to her family, as they did not know about Salion's death, but she was always smearing the ink or ruining the parchment with free flowing tears. The fire in her tavern room roared due to the sheer number of failed letters. She was writing, thinking about how to word the sentence when ink ran down her quill and blotted the paper. She screamed in rage, crying, and threw it in the fire before resting her head in her hands.
The scream could be heard from downstairs, in the common room, where two of her men were off-duty. Most of the people were too busy drowning their sorrows to notice but they looked up. "Must be 'ard on her Ladyship. Learnin' that her brother was being used as a shield by some heartless Daimon who-" "Watch yer mouth, Nathan!" the other interjected. "Whatever John," he paused to take a sip of ale before continuing, "in all my years of servin' her Ladyship, I never seen her with such a temper." John sighed gravely and said "Yer heard the rumours?" Nathan asked "What that her Ladyship is bein' turned to some bloody Daimon like Aletha was, only drunks and people smokin' too much ikrif be sayin' that! Don't tell me yer goin' daft? She lost her eldest brother!" John sighed "Yer know what? Ferget I said anything. Another mug quickly now!"

We were allowed to create new characters with special powers, but was short-lived.

We don't always see eye to eye on all things, such as voting out of Dukes of which i very very strongly object, but I do agree with him on forcing religion and making it a bit more important than it currently is. Religion from the base should have played an important role, but also some religions need to adapt a bit. What happened with the SA federation (realm over religion !@#$) should be avoided of course, which is player based. If they don't use religion for it, they'll use something else.But then how would new religions be founded? Aspirant ranks often gave associated costs, which lead to negative religion balance and being unable to leave the religion.

Basically what it says on the tin. I know GMs can play Daimons, but I have heard some players can do it as well. How would one accomplish this?

I would have written something with Yven when it happened, why it had happened, etc. But from an IC view she was REALLY peeved off and wanted nothing to do with the rest of SA.

As some players in Riombara know, Salion tried to duel Aletha for the fate of Riombara and she declined. I called her a coward, afraid to face a me, etc, and she just brushed it off. He was (at the time) just a knight, but still...

A friend of mine, Gorphastrous family, had to retry a few times then get it sent manually. He asked Tom and Tom told him that the mail server/thingy is stuffing up.
