Aye, that's the real issue here. Its like, say, how everyone in Obia'Syela and Xavax would shout bloody murder and threaten to quit if JeVondair cheated and got in trouble, because JV is so profoundly integral to those realms that everyone else would feel as if they got punished too.

Unfortunate side-effect of leadership positions is that when your leader screws up, it screws everyone.

My point exactly. You can't really wipe out all realm government and most of it's resources without affecting every player in the realm.

What disturbs me more though is that people would still count it victory and cheer if every player from the enemy realm quit battlemaster. Of course I'm hyperbolizing here, but not by much. I've actually witnessed people cheering OOC that Domitus player decided to quit due to Titan decision. I'm shocked at how much OOC hate flies around here.

While that would allow you to call it a puppet IC, forums are OOC area and surely I don't have to explain that only those players who have characters in Sol can say if it's a puppet or not. I've never heard any of those players claiming Sol to be anything of the sort. Neither IC nor OOC. In fact, the only person that has anything to say about puppetry (or lack there-of) of Sol stated it's independence numerous times on almost all channels available to them, many of them reaching most of the continent.

Hey Perth, I don't know you, I wasn't playing in your times. Not true, I was for like 3-4 days back in 08 or 09 I believe. As you can see:

There is a war going on on Dwilight.

Astrum vs Swordfell, Sol.

I don't know if you know Crixus but he just got punished and lost all his titles which made other nobles to replace him. Now nobody knows what is going to happen. Western Dwilight has only one realm, Westgard. If you fancy fighting monsters 24/7, that is the best place to go. Otherwise, you can probably choose between Astrum, Sol, and Swordfell. Sol is a puppet created by Swordfell.

OOC bull!@#$ing is still a thing.

It was actually done by two people. 15-20 people were not affected. Did any one lose titles other than the top two involved? No. However, they were two of rulers who were punished. Maybe that is why you think 15-20 people were affected. Also, let's not forget Crixus was holding 3 government positions, 1 ducal, 1 city lordship, and marshal. I mean it is hard to not get affected when someone hoards that many titles. It is Swordfell's fault for relying so heavily on one person.

Honestly? This argument is an inch away from "you don't like it? then don't play". And I wonder why battlemaster is struggling with maintaining playerbase.

I don't know. I mean - I'll leave aside wether or not someone was punished fairly or not. But as I see it about 15-20 players got punished for acts of one person. That's definitely not cool in my opinion. I've seen like four or five people talk about quitting over it. When you see not directly involved people talk about quitting, you know that things could be handled differently.

You haven't heard? Titans ruled that Crixus can't hold any government positions for the next two month. All positions are up for grabs, no glass ceiling.

Aight, I haven't found one so I'm making one. It's the first time I make one so go easy on me.

However controversial was the Titan rulling, Swordfell after it is pretty much the exact opposite of Swordfell before it. Where there was a glass ceiling now is a cloudless sky. Some of the most fun new players have characters there and all we need to make it flourish with life is a breath of fresh air. And as a bonus - some most powerful fellas on the continent want to erase Sworfell, so if you enjoy challange, always take the stairs instead of elevator when you carry a fridge to 10th floor, never look on image when solving puzzles, or if you like the idea of navigating your way through shattered Republic - here we are!

What if we encounter a player/player(s) that don't like or don't want to participate in the religion aspect of the game? We can't - I don't think - tell them to F*ck off and go find another realm.. at least I would feel bad about doing that.. So my question is how would we handle that IC? I imagine G2 would want to burn them at the stake and eat them for dinner...

Nonsense! We both know that he would eat them raw and still alive, and then burn what's left.

I just noticed my characters on Dwi drop by like 12 swordfighting fame points over the last several days. Someone just got a fancy artifact or is it a bug of some sort? I don't report it as bug because I'm 80% certain it's the first option, thought I'd check though. And honestly - envious.  (that's an envy tongue)

Obsidian Islands seem like they could be awesome if they were just a little bit bigger (with more nobles). Having them periodically appear on their boats as the savage Norse style raiders from the islands would be incredible. Even if they were just big enough to tip the balance of a few battles. Sadly I feel like the current state of OI is a prequel to the rest of BM if we don't keep more nobility coming in to maintain some density.

Hear, hear! Tell your friends people. Tell your friends and their mothers - Battlemaster is in it's renaissance. Even Dwi is getting lively-ish.

There are no younger, faster, more dynamic realms than the two democracies of EC! Libertas vincit omnia! Let fox flags and abstract heart flags flutter in the wind!

I imagine by now it's easier to count realms that don't proposition Xavax than those that do. I would laugh so hard at a plottwist of Xavax reemerging in Obsidian Islands or Perleone.
