If you do it like that you still need to deal with having lords step down and knights having to leave estates. Having a referendum automatically do that is far less of a hassle and saves hours/honor and prestige.

I think Dukes should be allowed to manually trigger elections for lordships.

It goes to the next lord of the region.

Ok so for the first issue shouldn't the message be changed to "nobles protesting" instead of "knights protesting"? I thought it might be some crazy bug that is a relic of past times like the protest button when lords change tax rates.

First of all, I've been getting this message every turn:
Quote
Knights Protesting   (55 minutes ago)
Protests against Bartholomew Simpson, Czar of Ivory Vale of Fheuvenem, Royal of Ivory Vale of Fheuvenem, Duke of Fheuvenem, Viscount of Rinqen are increasing, and result in a loss of a point of prestige for him.
It started back in the middle August and the stopped after a week and now came back again.
The thing is I am a duke and I have ZERO nobles under my dukedom. Heck, my entire realm has zero knights so I have no idea how I'm getting protested.

Second, as you can see I am a Duke however I managed to become a lord  of a region under another person's dukedom. I'm not sure if that's a bug but what I know is a bug is the fact that I cannot change the duchy my region belongs to. Both 'change region' and 'change realm' is grayed out.

The third issue is when I do certain actions like scouting or creating a referendum I occasionally get a black screen instead of a report and the action does not go through.

Just a random note but you made a typo in the thread title.

BT is far too depopulated to support another realm. We either need another influx of characters or another size shrink to make things more viable.

Uscala is running at 25% with stats only being lost due to distance issues.

I have tax set to 25% the peasants say nothing. If I change the tax to something like 10% the peasants will complain about high taxes for that turn only and then say nothing. If I crank it back up to 25% they say nothing.

That observation was with a capital city though I have also set a rural near my capital to 25% with no consequences. I'll see if I can get a further out region and crank the taxes up.

Absolutely nothing. Other than getting more tax gold.

No peasant protests. No stat decrease.

Should we add Caelum and IVF to the mix?

I have a feeling the continents with "increased rogue spawns" have had their spawn rates lower to the levels on other continents.
