On top of this I remember from my time in Ibladesh it made it very hard for a priest to be a general as you have a clear disadvantage. There are some religions where war in one form or another is approved and it is not strange for a priest to be general.

Thats right... Well in that case did you really expect Carelia to pursue war with Suville gaining another ally? Then again with Tara helping us I believe  you would be kinda irrelevant as we would just make sure the Tarans disabled you from helping by always having atleast one Taran with us.

Actually that decision would have depended mostly on Asleon's recommendations on who was 'right' in your conflict and who wished to continue war.

I'm curious though you intend to go to war again, but not Suville. There are only 2 options left really:
1] Attack the central alliance (unless you get Tara's help that's gonna be a death sentence)
2] You can join in on the assaults on Eston/Darka, but I'm not sure if that little bit of extra aid at this point will do anything than possibly slightly speed up the process.

Although you could always continue the Redspann way, go and march to BoM! After all, you do occupy some of their former lands.

As some of you know, I'm moving to Belgium in a month. Therefore...

I would like to get something put together where as many of the players who are able and interested, could go camping somewhere. Location, date, etc is all up for debate. Obviously sometime when it's not freezing cold in Europe or overly wet.

I will be in close proximity to Fleugs, Lorgan, and Sacha, and can heckle them mercilessly until they submit to going. So, who else would be interested?

Go east or south, as far as you can. The closer you are to the Netherlands the less likely it is your "dry" campingparty will actually happen...

Nobody wants to fight Caligus. And I don't blame them. They pretty much never lose.

As said that's wrong, it surprises me that they are still alive though after all they've done. Think they pretty much betrayed everyone at least once by now, or maybe not Sirion?

Ps, why hasn't anyone (Church of humanity?) started a frenzy against Sirion because many of them are not human? It was my plan once with Aeneas..but then Ibladesh got destroyed

The Central Alliance kept pushing on their victory and shortly after Anost fell to the imperial forces Meneriel was taken. The Cagilan Empire, along with her allies has maintained a force of over 30k the entire time even though most of their allies were refitting. Eston may only hope their Darkan allies will soon return as it seems unlikely for the Estonites to push back their enemy from the doorstep of Eston's capital city. How long, before that too is lost?

the South seems to have been all about peace since I sent Ambassador Asleon down. I originally sent him down to figure out if we'd have to go to war soon and which side we should actually support.)

I'm just that good... magic fingers lads. Interesting though that I basically got the power to influence Coria's entire stance of the south, or at least for a large part.

On a more related note, Coria has grown much since it's creation. However as far as I can tell we have always kept our word. Also my char was unaware that we even made plans to attack Tara, believe I just came to Coria around then and lacked any form of influence...?

Yes it happens sometimes, but very rarely and I believe Chenier (whoo what?) and Draco have adequately explained why this is often the case. Added to this is the fact that land grabbing etc is frowned upon in BM (unfortunately). Most rulers will look weary on you if you do so to a realm (even if it's not theirs) as if it is something unbecoming of a noblemen...

I do have but one problem with all of this. All these examples are of a more modern era. I believe in the Dark Ages people tended to go to war (not all out destructive war, but surely landgrabbing etc) much faster than they do now.

Synod is still a small group though and it'll be tricky:
4 elders (without Selene)
2 Lay-Cardinals
2 representatives

Of these 8 there are 2 Cyrith and 2 Quintus Ennius. Curious how things will turn out.
