No to bash and face palm here but.....bad settings for Attackers...

Don't forget that the defending side was dug in giving them an extra advantage on that front.

It would be fun to see Jenred return and "fight" with Velax for the throne of the Arcaean Empire, which they'd also need to build. Persuade Sorraine to join (what to do with religion), or will you take them out? Same for GA and maybe even Cathay.

It wasn't too bad but then the only warlike one got excommunicated and murdered.

You all assume too much I believe. Lately there has been some dynamic shifting within the Church also due to the influences of the CoI. Maybe I''m kinda responsible for that, who knows?... However Aeneas in this case has seen the CoI crumble (and he blames many things for that) and would be careful to see that happen on FEI. Doesn't mean the Church does not go to war. However due to the delicate context of Arcaea and Cathay (their only possible friends really) not accepting religious powerplay, it is suicide for the Church to just war every "evil" religion as you saw in the Last huge war with Kindara and PoZ.

We'll see how long the church lasts this time. The last time I managed to destroy it by going to war with Arcachon and Arcaea, backed up by Lasanar. When Lasanar fell, so did Sartania and the church, almost then. Hope my chars do better this time for their sake haha.

Interesting how this debate goes from: It is alright of Sorraine to declare war - look at real life history to sexy virtual babes....and that in about 1-3 post.

Back on topic, Sorraine has multiple reasons to go to war and considering they have no bonding factors (no similar friends, no similar religion... nothing) there is little stopping them.

I do wonder however how long Ohnar West can keep up this show of force and amount of recruiting.

I do play in the CE-Tara federation and I have no problems with things.

People seem to think that war is the only way to fight a realm??? What would be more interesting for outsiders is to try and get spies within the block (just please don't pick OOC methods like having a friend start a account in CE or something) or try to stir trouble within the federation. If you only look at the Suville situation there is already disagreements between/within CE and Tara. Those are things you can and should use to fight the block as well.

Situations like this are always delicate, true. But it is the fun thing for the CE-Tara side to stay strong and fun for the other side to try and ruin the oh so mighty federation. (Be honest, if you'd succeed, wouldn't you brag about it a year later still???)

A few years ago I always thought GA actually had to power and influence to wipe out realms on religious grounds. Now that I returned a few years I no longer hold this illusion... GA seems to have little friends and is more a stuck in the middle neutral realm, even in the last war.

Also it does suck, only found out that my judge char was not allowed to join the tournament in her own nation... damn... Oh well, back to monster hunting I suppose

I'm in doubt of the strength of the Order at this point. It is true that the order controls most of Kindara and Zonasa. However beyond that the control is very limited. Arcaea will accept no dominant religion (due to Velax' influence) and as a result Sartan, Elders and MA have some foot in Arcaea (fun times).

Cathay is no longer fond of the Elders really also due to the last war (which the Order power house (kindara zonasa) lost.) So I wonder how much strength the Order truly holds beyond the south.

The same however goes for the Church of Sartan. It controls all of Sorraine, has some foot in Arcaea and the Dark Isles now and also some in Cathay. But it will not be able to steer Arcaea or Cathay into war.

The key factor in all of this is still Arcaea I think as Velax seems to stop most religious warfare and actions.

Yes, that's indeed possible these days. But as said previously they will do less damage as they have to aim more carefully (thus fire less arrows).

Hey everyone,

I've attempted to RTO a rouge region however I keep getting (beforehand so never getting the option) that the current realm (rouge) has a too solid control. I got this message in a region with the following stats:
Production:   Stopped
Morale:   Bleak

In other regions, with similar stats I did get the option to do an RTO. Does anyone know why this exactly is and what can be done about it? I tried causing unrest a few times, but to my knowledge it has helped little.

My char has 80+ oratory skills and the region is 99% converted.

The funniest times I had was with my old account playing Aeneas in Taselak. There was always something going on there with I think Sacha's char always running around naked to battle and Aeneas basically being a complete berserk barbarian idiot and charging/attacking without orders (sometimes screwing up short-treaties with Toren) etc and he kept being appointed to lordly positions. Haha what a laugh I had back then for sure...
