You suck.

The entire island is run by an unbreakable coalition that is so risk averse, they refuse to take even the smallest of chances. Everyone else is supposed to just fall in line and be good little client realms while the big boys make all the real decisions in their private forums.

I thought that this war in the south might break things up at least a little. But no. All it did was add another brick in the monolithic edifice of the League. Pick a fight with one League realm? Get ready for the inevitable gang bang, because there's no way in hell that any of them will ever do anything that goes against the League's best interests. This despite the fact that League realms are declaring war with the IC justification of "we were bored, so we decided to attack you".

So congratulations, League. You win Atamara. Now the island is just as f'ing broken as FEI. Hope you're happy.

Development / Travel not happening?

Did anyone else notice that travel doesn't seem to be working? You get travel notices like you should, but then you haven't really moved at all. I've noticed this on AT, BT, and EC, and heard reports about it from at least one other on AT.

Development / Character Status bug

My character on EC got hit HARD by an assassin. On character page, his status is "dying". When i play the character it says he is seriously wounded. When i try to read messages, it says, in red letters, "This character is dead. You can read the news to learn about his last hours, but you can not do anything else. (You can bury him from the family screen.)"

I'm Still getting status notifications: "Wounds Unchanged   (10 hours, 32 minutes ago)
The healers have kept your condition stable, but haven't been able to make any improvements yet.
Your wounds are critical, and you spend most of your time unconscious."

I suppose i will recover, but these conflicting messages are confusing.

Can we do something about the lack of a mentor channel? Island-wide ooc newbie channel. Opt-in dedicated mentor channel. Whatever. Just something. New players need a way to get help beyond just whoever happens to answer them ig. (Assuming anyone does that, even.)

Development / declaring war against a chained alliance?

Talerium has declared war on Minas Leon. (8 days ago, now.) This should not be possible, i believe.

Talerium - CE -- Strombran - Rieleston -- Minas Leon

Double dashes for federations.

Via transitive alliances, Talerium has declared war on their own ally. I was under the impression that this was not supposed to be possible. Or does that only apply over one degree of separation? Maybe confused by the federations? This has kind of screwed up some hopes for rewiring alliances to be dropped when declaring war.

I have looted in multiple regions expecialy the rich ones in the south like moeth and have only recovered between 2 - 5 gold for 8 hours of work. And I even had over 20 men. The gold kept Ana satisfied.. Now that she isn't getting boon there may be the slaughtered bodies of entire families lining the streets.

I've seen other reports as well that looting doesn't really gain you much gold these days.

Announcements / Looting System Details

There has been some confusion over the details of the new looting system. Here is a summary of the changes that were implemented last month.

- Replaced some of the existing looting options with more clearly targeted ones
- Added the "terror" mechanic to cause production to drop precipitously in the short term with enough systematic looting (peasants stay home in fear)
- Terror fades pretty quickly, and people go back to work
- Changed the effectiveness of looting to be based on population density and how many peasants a given group of soldiers can realistically (?) cover in the given amount of time
- Removed the "kill, rape, burn" option, and moved the possibility of rape to almost all looting options, with the "strict/normal/lenient" selector allowing you to either prevent it entirely (with "strict") or make it more likely (with "lenient")
- Changed stealing food and gold to often steal directly from peasants, not from the tax office or the granary. These thefts will not be reflected in the next tax or the ability of the region to feed its people, but will upset the peasants much more than when you steal from what's already been collected. (There are also safeguards in place to ensure that it doesn't become an infinite gold/food source.)
- Changed the spawning of peasant mobs so that (ideally) it is less common, no longer pointless, and, when it happens, much more threatening.
- The entirety of the Looting Overhaul is expected to need tweaking and balancing over time, as it is a complete ground-up rewrite, and there was no realistic way to thoroughly test it before sending it live.

Please provide any feedback you may have in the Helpline forum and report any bugs on the Bugtracker if bugs are confirmed.

We had waaaay too much ranged SF, and not enough infantry. But wow, does it do some damage! Lots of wounds all around. Close finish.
