Dwilight yes. Rathan was in Everguard when he first made contact, but then moved to D'hara. Grathe escapes me.

Graethe was part of Asylon but I think he was in Terran when he got the jobs from the Daimons, I knew about this for a long time and Glaumring was helping him with his task, but this is sooooo long ago I barely remember the details. So much has been lost over the years.

After the fall of Melodia, or Shadovar Glaumring left to Terran and then after Terran he travelled to the Zuma lands to see what was there , I was merely imprisoned and left when I escaped , afterwards I went to Virovene and served there until it fell and then by happenstance and pure luck founded Thulsoma... omg this was near  decade ago rl

Dwilight / the rise of the cult of Bloodmoon...
« on: November 01, 2018, 01:26:52 AM »
After a long deep sleep the Green hind has woken from her slumber, the Bloodmoon plant has been most likely eradicated from the east lands and is now something merely remembered in times of far madness mumbled by crazy men in villages and lore to scare children at night. Legend says that in far Vakreno heaps the last orchard rests with plump fruits as large as the heads of horses eaten now by Daimons, the plant has been lost to mankind, stomped out, crushed and its sacred fruit ignored to rot upon the branch...

There light! The Storms keep tower bonfire has been lit once again, some say an ancient man has returned from long sojourn to the keep, a dark swarthy long haired wrinkled and tattooed man wearing the great bear cloak now ragged. Some say they search the cliffs hung on ropes with torches, a  few brave peasants and ancient ones,

Some say they search for Bloodmoon fruit, some say that it would be madness they'll find....

Until then, the light of the Storms keep rises with the moon once again... What will they find?

BM General Discussion / Re: Famous Old Characters

My general policy has been to not add living characters to the list. However, I definitely think she'll qualify once deceased, so I can add her to the 'waiting list' of living but famous characters. Garas and Glaumring too.

There have been some exceptions, mostly to those who have been paused for several months, or whose characters come from the Near Origins (~2003) of BM. These are quite the rare exception compared to the other names on the lists. I'll consider Glaumring for an exception, due to joining Dwilight so early and still being around. Possibly Karibash too.

Also, I was planning to make it an annual community event (poll each noble on each island) at some point, but I don't know how likely that'll be, with my diminishing engagement level.

Colonies are not an afterthought, though there are decidedly less names there.

Ultimately, as I said above, I'd like to make it an annual event (say, over Christmas/NYW week, when things are more relaxed) where each island's nobles vote on the most worthy noble who deceased/deleted/retired over the past year.

Glaumring is now 110years old as a hero.... I don't think he'll ever get on a deceased list, ive been trying for decades!

Bloody hell, I cant blame him for splitting the realm. The last two Doges we had were absolutely pathetic. What a shame, ultimately I am proud of what we did achieve with Fronen, even though mosts of its players were either multis at one time or just a lazy collection of tax hoarders. Anyways, the nobles of Fronen were good and they worked hard for the republic, I talked of splitting the realm under my rule but was denied, im a bit sour but happy it finally happened. Who knows where I go from here.

Suddenly I miss "not playing" with Glaumring before. It sounds fun! :(

Its never to late. The best RP's are tragic characters.

Yes still playing but kind of zombie right now but I log in daily to move around etc, I love this post of Hireshmonth homeless, hilarious. the main reason I wanted him to join us was because I knew it would be chaos or at least a little hellraising. I like to have the realm shaken up or messed up ever so often.

Glaumring is currently 103 years old and a hero to boot,  2008-05-23. I had an account a year or so before this one so I may be a 2006 or 2007 altogether,

24
No, not at all. Just tested it myself.

From what I see now, Glaumring is usin "http://battlemaster.org/'https://i.imgur.com/4Z9DJZA.jpg" as URL. Not sure where that comes from.

Please use:

It works!!!!

I have a character in Vix Timoura and you cannot keep up there are so many letters its madness. I literally do not even read any of them anymore because it would take me half an hour of digging through them. Its sad but I do not have as much time as I did when I was younger for long RP's and character interactions.

26
From what I see, you are still using 'https://imgur.com/4Z9DJZA' instead of 'https://i.imgur.com/4Z9DJZA.jpg'

The first is not a picture link, the latter is.

Nope still no work. :(

27
Yea, use https://i.imgur.com/4Z9DJZA.jpg instead.

Guess someone got their hand on some bloodmoon in Highmarch, already getting High before the rest of us!

link still doesnt work  :(
