I(my advy) found one and sold it to some other guy who already had like 5, needing 7 altogether. The stipulation on the sale was that he open the portal somewhere on Lurian lands...  ;D

OMG! If Daimons flood in like the last invasion, Dwilight won't survive. They should just open one in East Island or Far East.

I am sure daimons of Zuma will join them on the conquest and burn Terran and Berca first and head north to destroy what little remains of Caerwyn. And as you know they will stomp the SA brotherhood.

I think the Stones will simply go 'Poof' and disappointment will be the only yield :)

It would be nice if they could be used to travel to a different location on the map (permanent advy portal between two regions), or even open a portal for the advy to travel between maps.

That would make the Advy class quite cool. As such, I can't see that happen :P

Summoning a rogue legion would be awesome, though :) certainly if that portal was to be opened in Luria! :D

Hm. I would think that the most likely thing to happen, if anything happened at all, would be that the magical explosion resulting from attempting to activate them outside of an area where portals were already active would simply kill whatever advy was stupid enough to try it.

That, or nothing at all.

Yes... kinda like the fact that one cannot give gold/sell (for gold/silver) minor items to other advies.

Do these work on Dwilight?
During the third invasion when the portal stones were active, they were a manual process. My understanding is that when you activated them, there was no immediate effect. A message was sent to Tom/GMs, and they would have to log in and manually do whatever it is that they were supposed to do, based on where they were activated. If there was no portal in the region, then you got some message about there being no effect, or something about the magic "pointing to the east", and supposedly pointing to the nearest portal.

If someone were to use portal stones now on Dwilight, I would imagine that nothing would happen at all. Remember that the Dwilight daimons are supposedly a completely different race than the BT daimons. So there's no reason to assume that doing the same thing on the two islands would necessarily produce the same results.

But, you really never know. Maybe the Dwilight daimons are lying. :P
