IR violation?
« Topic Start: March 14, 2012, 05:42:30 AM »
This is something I posted to the whole realm of Arcaea.

"We currently find ourselves in need of a courtier or two to help the rebuilding work in Soniel. If there is anyone who would like to take up this position, even if only temporarily, let me know, please. It would be greatly appreciated."

Could this be considered an IR violation? I did not think so, but would like a clarification.

Not at all. You are not asking directly to anyone in particular, now are you?
d'Arricarrère Family: Torpius (All around Dwilight), Felicie (Riombara), Frederic (Riombara) and Luc (Eponllyn).

You're asking for volunteers in a general sort of way. In no way is that an IR violation. How else are you going to fill a need that arises in the realm? Keep quiet and hope someone notices?

That is the way that I would advise any ruler who asks to do it: Ask for volunteers.

My thanks for the clarification. I had a complaint after I sent that to the realm, saying I was coming close to violating the IR. I did not think I had, but wanted to make sure.
