IC Excuse for being gone

When you know you won't/can't be on the computer for a few days what do you say for your in character excuse usually? Or do you just send an ooc message?

OOC message is probably fine, but if you want something IC, just make something up. You're sick, there's a family tragedy, there's an emergency in your region that you have to take care of, the interior decorators for your new castle need your help deciding whether to use powder blue or chartreuse in the bedroom...anything you can come up with.
