Class Project Research
« Topic Start: May 30, 2012, 09:48:24 PM »
Hey guys, my girlfriend is working on a class project for her summer class at University and asked me to post this link on here.  If you wouldn't mind, we'd appreciate it if you'd take the time to fill out the survey for her. :)

Done!

Others might like to know that this takes roughly 3 minutes, and does not ask for any personal info other than you age.
After all it's a roleplaying game.

A word or two what it's about would help. Lots of people don't go with no info whatsoever on the content.

Also, it is customary to give participants a link or a mail where they can learn the results once the survey is finished.

Well, if you want I can post the results on here after it's done.  I can't take the survey as she already told me what she was studying, so I actually didn't know anything about what's in it (other than what's being studied, which I can't say without skewing the results).  I believe the questions are a personality quiz of sorts.  I will tell her about sharing the results with her participants, though; I don't think she thought of that.  Thanks! :)

I have to agree.

No idea on what's it about, how long it'd take either, without shifting through the pages.

Yep. It's very similar to the various personality inventory quizzes done by a lot of psychology students for various classes. Doesn't take too long, about 5 minutes.

I can't tell you what it's about.

If I tell you, I'd have to kill you.

Surprised there was no question about education attainment.  *shrug* Done though.

Feels good to be a part of the experiment.
Just stay alive and kicking, raise your voice when its needed. Through reason you can show the mistakes of others, something violence can't do.

Whoops, sorry about that.  She was doing the experiment to test the effect of the background color on the completion rate.  White was the worst at ~81% completion and orange the best at ~88%, but with a 95% confidence interval of +/- ~10% (at best) all she could really conclude was that the sample size was too small.  A "could be something, could be nothing" result.  Thanks much to everyone who participated. ^.^
