Taking a look at Aurvandil's statistics, I'd say something is up. I'm not sure what, and I don't have the tools to claim anything. I'm just asking that someone with the tools to do so look at what is going on down there.

Rapid increase in gold and CS. Other than that I don't see much problem with the statistics.

They have half the population of Morek, less gold production overall, markedly less gold per noble than Morek, yet have at least a 10k lead over them in overall CS, and are able to form an army comparable to Perdan's army on East Continent with only around 30 nobles... and that's using the 7 day old stats.

Nothing new there. Just an unusually efficient realm with a lot of active nobles. Keep in mind that having a larger number of smaller units (made possible by having more nobles than anyone else) is far more effective for pumping up your CS than having a small number of larger units. In this case, you get the best of both worlds: A large number of large units. A recent scout report of Rettleville showed that the average CS/unit in Aurvandil approaches 1,000, and they have about twice as many nobles as anyone else. Oh my.

I maintain that if Morek had the same number of nobles, they could probably achieve this as well. Morek has enormous amounts of gold it doesn't use. Aurvandil may have less income per capita, but I would wager that it is used far more efficiently.

Basically, they are an East Continent or Atamaran style realm plopped down on Dwilight where they don't fit the mold.

Dwilight realm's are very different in that they, at least more so than realms on other continents, shy away from the "your realm is a team" kind of play. Aurvandil doesn't, they embrace it to the extreme. Pooling all resources, etc. for the good of the realm. I think this is the big difference.

Probably. Astrum and Morek could build solid gold palaces out of their spare change. I have no idea what kind of reserves Aurvandil has, but I would bet that they don't amount to a lot. The strength of Aurvandil isn't in their available resources, it is in how efficiently they put them to use. That and their very high number of characters relative to the rest of Dwilight.

That's the point... Perdan and CE have more regions, and more nobles. Yet have the same amount of CS.
