On England, Instead of being called Englanians, or Englanders, they accepted "English"

But England and the English were both named after the "Angles", which is the "Anglo" in "Anglo-Saxon". So "Anglish" is much closer to the root of both. It's not that the land was named "England" and then the English were named after it, it's the reverse; the land is "Angle-land".
