This isn't listed anywhere on the wiki that I've noticed. I had assumed it was 10 since you need that much to run in an election, but I noticed an inactive player is eligible for lordship with only 5 prestige. What's the deal?

Norrel

I believe it's 5 for lordship, 10 for council position and 15 for the ruler positions.

Appointments do not have any prestige restriction I believe.

They must have a restriction for either honor or prestige because I tried to appoint a noble with low prestige/honor and it wasn't possible. They didn't even show up as an option even though they'd left their estates and everything.

Zakilevo

I got appointed when I had 14 honour and 4 prestige.

Ross

Appointed with 19 honour and 5 prestige. My guess would be that maybe there's a specific amount of time spent in the kingdom required.

yes, there is a minmum prestige for a lordship. It is somewhere around 3. Not a very high bar to pass.

Around three as in it can vary or is there an exact number? Sorry to be so specific but it's kind of a hassle when you have a knight step down from their estate only to find out they can't be a lord.

Indirik

Yes, there is an exact number. And if I knew what it was, I would have told you in my last post.

Ok, that isn't supposed to be special information or anything is it? If not I'd like to add it to the wiki once we figure it out.

There's nothing in the game mechanics that players are prohibited from adding to the Wiki.

There are only a tiny number of things we would request be kept from the Wiki, and those are mostly just for the funny-surprise factor.

Basically, if the players can figure it out, it's fair game. Beyond that...we're still working on a final policy. (The Doctrine transition kind of slowed things down on that front.)
