Yesterday verion 0.40 of Dwarf Fortress was released.  Two long years since the last release!

The site is being hit pretty hard currently, so you might get web errors.  Keep trying.

Sounds like the current version is still pretty rough around the edges.

I've just genned up a world to try and check things out, but I'm not expecting to stick around for long until Toady goes through several bugfix cycles ;D
