Pssh... people have been trying to worship Tom for years now. 
Hey, it takes a lot longer to make a really high-grade idol and shrine than you'd think...
It is kind of beautiful having a cult around someone who refuses to be worshipped, though. Tom is like Jesus from the gospel of Mark.
