I'm not sure if people stray into the other forums so I'm posting in all the islands.

Please post interesting items (spice them up) to go onto the Battlemaster Facebook page.

Cheers,
Scott

Caligus declared war against Dunnera, the realm seceded from their own lands.
This happened after conflict between Dunnera Banker and Caligus Ruler brother who joined Dunnera.
Before the war started, Caligus Ruler brother, a Duke of the capital city destroyed all the infrastructures in their city, ie. Recruitment Centers.
Caligus first attack against Dunnera failed in Negev due to not enough army reinforcement arrive at same time.
Dunnera tries to retaliate against Caligus in An Najaf, but got overwhelmed by Caligus army.

New Prime Minister in Sirion! (yey me)
Actually state your character's name as he might not have a character on East Island to check with. Basically with these its best if you don't just post the event such that it will need editing because its best when it says something like , "New Prime Minister of Sirion is Ryu Hinamoto." So that you aren't just stating the general event but the where its a little more specific, in this case a name. Also don't feel like I am trying to be picky or annoying or something like that as I am stating this towards everyone for the future posts.

You should be even more detailed than that. Nobody outside EI is likely to know the Sirion government system, so saying how he got into position (regular election, old ruler stepped down, etc.) would also provide more context.

The new Prime Minister of the Republic of Sirion, sir Ryu Hinamoto, has been elected through a regular monthly election where every noble is invited to vote. The old Prime Minister, Lady Rugina Blakeshadow did not run for personal reasons.

The election of Prime Minister Ryu Hinamoto does not come as a surprise. It has been a long-lasting tradition of Sirion to vote Prime Ministers those individuals who distinguished themselves militarily during their career. Sir Ryu had led the armies of Sirion as general against Fontan for a considerable amount of time and with remarkable success, making him a war hero and a naturally inspiring figure. Finding him now ruler of Sirion is therefore natural.

The only question remaining is whether the new Prime Minister will abandon his Duchy, Karbala, as it has been traditionally done in Sirion, or whether he will keep his land and attempt to retain more power than any former ruler Sirion had before.

Ravier Nebehn is appointed Duke of Westmoor after his predecessor was forced to step down due to medical absence (OOC: inactivity). Though there was some minor consternation at no election being held from a couple of nobles despite appointments being the norm in Westmoor, the new Duke of Westmoor was widely welcomed and has began governance of his Duchy at once, with rumours of a tournament to be held as a celebration in the near future.

Caligus besieged the city of Fontan, the capital of Dunnera and her last remaining region. Caligus  successfully crushed the defending Dunneran forces with their overwhelming number of infantry.

Where will Dunneran nobles go? And Will Caligus be able to get the city in one piece or will they get nothing but a ruin?

Siana Deytheur, Queen of Eponllyn, Duchess of Semall, Margravine of Semall has announced a tournament of Joust and Swordfight to be held in Semall recently. 86 nobles from 9 realms joined the Tournament. In final round of Swordfight, Jaroslav from Eponllyn bested Giselle from Sirion. For jousting contest finale, Tanya from Armonía beats Cain from Sirion. Both Eponllyn and Armonía are realms formed from fallen Ibladesh realm. It seems fitting that a noble of Eponllyn should win the sword fighting and that a noble of Armonia should win the Jousting.

Arch Cleric Jor Tanos, leader of the worldwide Church of Humanity, announced a New Year Fête to be held in their holy city of Perdan from the 30th of December 1012 until the 5th of January 1013 for the Curacy of Eastralis.  Eastralis is the name used by the Church for what is more commonly called the East Continent.

The Fête will include the Church's Knights Templar marching in parade formation, sermons and speeches by Clercis and Church leaders, general festivities, and lavish feasts for all attendees.  Non-Faithful are invited to attend, provided they do not actively seek to disrupt the celebration of the Divine's blessings.

Knight Templar Sir Armstrong Ironsides has suggested that the Faithful form processions and join up together as they make their way to Perdan in a show of brotherhood and solidarity.  The leadership of the Church of Humanity has embraced this idea and is actively working to coordinate such effort.

There you go.  Imagine long streams of pilgrims making their way across the continent from its furthest reaches, marching towards their holy city and passing shrines and temples along the way.  I hope this will be a big RP event, no matter what time of year it is.
