In a dazzling defensive manoeuvre, The Ohnarian Guardians have utterly crushed the Sartanian incursion force of the Crusaders of the F(lame) in Sanzzos, ending their takeover of the region. Meanwhile, the Dawn Raiders successfully raised the Ohnarian flag in Abilotiel, facing no military resistance, being welcomed by its hungry inhabitants as saviours.

Scout reports indicate devastation in the Sorrainian regions, and rumours of widespread starvation in Ozrat itself have been proven accurate. How long shall the Sartanian elite keep driving their people into death and destruction in the name of imperialism and aggressively spreading their faith? One things for sure, Ohnar has proved it isn't the pushover Sorraine assumed it to be.

Rulers of the Far East,

A few weeks ago the Traitor Baron Derfel Hywelbane, Lord of Nbasah, defected his region to Coralynth, claiming political asylum from opression. In vain I protested to King Azgath that the man was no refugee, he was a treacherous scoundrel who wanted only to enrich himself while doing nothing for the realm and in fact doing his best to promote war with our neighbours.

Now the traitor Derfel has revealed his true nature. His kinsman Arthfael Hywelbane, Knight of Nbasah, has approached me and offered me money to use against Sorraine, further promoting war in the region. This despite the fact that his own King Azgath, and his Emperor Velax, are allied to Sorraine. And who can doubt that his liege and Kinsman Derfel is fully aware of his treachery? He is offering Coralynth gold to fight a Coralynth ally!

I refused his treacherous offers and I leave him and his kinsman Derfel to the mercy of his King and His Emperor. They will know how to deal with this family. I will send you all a full set of letters that passed between us.

I also request King Azgath to regognise now that Derfel is a traitor and a scoundrel, and no political refugee, and to therefore return the region of Nbasah to Ohnar West as befits a man of Honour. He will gain my friendship and everyones respect and admiration by this just action.

In other news, Pesol declares independence from Sorraine. Reports reach Ohnar that Akanos too starves.

Breaking news: Sorraine is broken and sueing for peace. With their God proven false, the majority of the Heathen Council fled for dear life. The remainder of Sorraine's government, their realm starving and burning around them have chosen to throw in the towel.

In a surprising and disturbing turn of events, the rulers of both Sorraine and Greater Aenilia have vanished. Let us hope this trend does not continue.

Arella Morningstar, Queen of Greater Aenillia has mysteriously disappeared. It is suspected she may have been abducted by a pair of cookie eating, hug tackling, wolf riding lesbians.  No further information at this time.

The Order of the Elders, locked in a brutal religious conflict with the Church of Sartan, have overplayed their hand by demanding a theocracy of the Elders be carved out of the lands of the Sartanian Kingdom of Sorraine - thus revealing openly their long suspected support for Ohnar West which has included financial support to followers of another faith!

It remains to be seen how the nobility of the Far East will react to this shocking revelation.

The most interesting part of it, is that a realm that is the founding location, and strongest bastion, of the Way of the Dragon was demanding that a theocracy of a different religion is to be created. Kind of a bit of an oopsie there...

The Order of the Elders has made no such demand but has been exploring the possibility of establishing a theocracy for some time.

In other news, the Church of Sartan, apart from being prone to assumption and hyperbole, is once again embroiled in petty infighting and largely ignored pleas for followers to come to the aid of Sorraine.

I don't think anyone claimed that it was the Order that made the demand. However, the idea doubtless originated within the Order, even if it wasn't an official request. It wasn't like Ohnar West would come up with that demand on their own.
