I'm just surprised we have no Atlantans, Cajuns, or Floridians.

In my (admittedly, very limited and northern) experience, social conservatives, as a group, have a greater tendency to dislike sci-fi, fantasy, and geekdom in general. And it's hardly succumbing to stereotypes to note that the deep south tends to be much more socially conservative than the rest of the nation...

I think there is some truth to that; still just surprised that we have NONE.
