Not really, we're ignoring CE et al and having fun fighting amongst ourselves.  The recent succession has been the most exciting part of the last two years.

If Eston fell, Darka and the Barony would become bastions of anti-CE monopoly. They would gain many former Estonian nobles and would become very tough nuts to crack, and could possibly continue on until someone from the CE monopoly breaks off and joins them to challenge them for rule of the continent... Tara or Coria, perhaps.

Not that I think this will happen. Just a hypothetical scenario.
