Hi all,

Can anyone help and advise the easiest way to gain honour and prestege, I want to become an infiltrator but our regions are quiet at the minute to no battles are happening.

Thanks in advance.

Courtier work. Investments. Winning tournaments.

Better yet, try to fight monsters/undead on your own. That works wonders for your honour and prestige.

Think my character in Sorraine gained much more h/p while staying at home slaying monsters than the noblemen who went out to a long distance war.

investment is the easiest way of upping prestige when you have tons already.

Of course, fodder means investing in your own region/city, since you get most of it back through the production increase.  Otherwise it's a terrible means of increasing prestige as it's much too costly.
The above is accurate 25% of the time, truthful 50% of the time, and facetious 100% of the time.

If at first you don't succeed, don't take up skydiving.

it's not terrible if other means like battles don't give you much prestige after 40ish/50ish...

of course.. that's not why my priest lord (who is now 2nd in pres over in bt) invests a fair bit..

Meh, it's pretend gold. Who cares?

As long as you have a never-ending supply, I guess.

I've been getting it every week for almost seven years now. Doesn't show any sign of stopping.

If you have high-income characters and no expenses, sure.

What is Freedom? - ye can tell; That which slavery is, too well; For its very name has grown; To an echo of your own

T'is to work and have such pay; As just keeps life from day to day; In your limbs, as in a cell; For the tyrants' use to dwell

If there's no fighting, then you're not spending a lot on soldiers. And with the shortage of players, having a low income is your own fault.

As an aside, you can always ask your neighbors if they need help fighting monsters. This is especially welcome if your neighbor *is* at war.

Easy?!  :o

He's sitting around with nothing to do. He can train at the academy every day.

If there's no fighting, why stay in that realm?  Battles are much better at prestige gaining than investing ever will be, albeit less safe for older chars.

A shortage of players, yes, but not so short that everyone can gets 200+ per week in every realm.

I'd be very surprised if you had neighbours willing to let your army into their realm unless it's being completely overrun with monsters. -_-

Some people like their realm, despite the lack of battles. Yes, changing realms and seeing some real battles will probably be best for your H/P, though.

No, you may not be able to get 200+ in every realm, but 150 isn't exactly poor. If you're getting less that 100, you're probably getting ripped off. (Or you're one of those 3 realms in the entire game that have "enough" nobles already.)

It doesn't take an entire army to go monster hunting. 3 or 4 nobles will do. And any realm that is at war will normally be thankful to a friendly neighbor that can take care of a random monster group that is bugging them.
