He thinks he was saved by Ramsus at the point of death to reveal secret teachings about the gods that he found in sacred texts in the ashes of Ibladesh. He's now on a journey to find out what was good and true in the religion.
Some others think he's a deluded undead abomination with its head hanging off its shoulders.
