"Follow the public protests and impeach Kas Mayhem, Chief Magistrate of Terran, Royal of Terran."

Your reason for calling for impeachment will be posted to the realm and become part of the referendum:"

"There is already a vote of no confidence in the Chief Magistrate pending."

WHAT IS THIS?

Why have I never heard of it?

Why doesn't it work? It says there is already a vote of no confidence pending.

It doesn't work because of a URL error. Please report the error (the URL is saying /testing/ when it should be /stable/).

You can work around this by changing /testing/ in the URL to /stable/.


You may not have heard of it because of how rare successful protests are.

It's a bizarre feature... what is its purpose? I've seen it before, but since protests can kick the ruler out, why duplicate it with a simultaneous parallel feature?

It provides more flavor and uniqueness for different government styles. It gives the judge an option to call for a vote of no confidence, even if there are not enough protests to protest him out.

I believe it is for republics, not sure about democracies. Get someone to start a protest campaign, and find out. ;)

Didn't this happen in Springdale, a monarchy? Or was I thinking of another early-Dwi realm?
