What happen if I drop my unit with more than 50% damage?

Equipment damage doesn't affect it I believe. But gold does. So make sure to have enough gold to pay your men off before you place them ;)

Then the unit has 50% damage. It slowly regenerates but you also slowly lose men from militia so no real CS gain from it.
