If anyone is interested in helping out with my little project, feel free to drop by to drop comments :)

I hope, in time, I will be able to make a decent guide to help new marshals/vice/generals who do not know what to do. :)

How about something to help out the new players??? How about a MENTORS page/ Mentor available page, etc. were a new GUY can get advise. Right now there is nothing out there except the WIKI/ a new player sure needs more than that.

The wiki is certainly varying in quality - with the rapidly varying nature of the game it is difficult to justify putting a lot of time to keep it updated.

There have been some mention recently of a revamped mentor system. However in the mean time there is a Helpline section on the forum, feel free to ask any question there. You may get a quicker answer than in-game.
After all it's a roleplaying game.

You can also ask anything you want here on the forums. Try the Helpline board (http://forum.battlemaster.org/index.php/board,2.0.html). Or, for very basic type questions, maybe even the Newbie Board (http://forum.battlemaster.org/index.php/board,32.0.html).
If at first you don't succeed, don't take up skydiving.

As for the guide, I am too busy to update it. I will probably do that when I have some spare time.

I have a formation guide that might help.

This might not be right for this, but I gathered advice for rulers from multiple players a while back.

"I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is the moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious" ~ Vince Lombardi
