We got no table either though 
But we found the hacksaw (Two of them to taunt us), which helped us out.

On the plus side, we camped every building within the Search Tower sight (5 or 6 of them), and got advanced map, search tower and small factory. Unfortunately the town wasted too many pharms, and spent too much time building/doing fluff, so had too little defense.
