Tournament Prizes

I have recently built a Tournament grounds. I can call a tournament with a maximum prize of 800 gold. I seem to recall that a few days ago it was only 250 gold.

I am also quite certain I have seen tournaments with higher prizes in the past.

What determines the maximum prize? Can I do anything to increase it?

This is just a guess, but might it have something to do with your available gold?

That's it! In my head I was adding gold and bonds but of course I have to actually change it for the game to know.

Just a wild idea, but wouldn't unique items as tourney prizes be cool? :)
