In rather depressing news
« Topic Start: December 14, 2014, 06:35:46 PM »
Cagilan Empire has decided to renew their federation with Tara. Once again ensuring the complete boringness that is Atamara continues to be even more boring. *sighs*

I still maintain that Atamara just needs to be nuked from orbit.

Either that or for dukes to secede en masse but if that hasn't happened yet then I doubt it ever will.

Come to BT - the geography is pretty similar and we actually have balanced wars on a regular basis!

I am disappointed, but not really surprised. I'm still waiting for CE v Talerium.

The result is going to be rather predictable. CE and friends gang-bang, realm is destroyed, players leave, status quo remains.

For gods sake, how long have Tara and CE been buddy buddy? I think they were the same size (in regions) they are today when I came into the game, and that was at least what, 6-8 years ago? I honestly don't understand how it could possibly be interesting to play in such a realm (I am trying, I have a character there now). CE and Tara badly need to go to war with each other.

Talerium could definitely take on CE if they wanted.
No reason to fear retaliation. If CE and friends manage to gang-bang all opposition, you can just emigrate to BT, which you'll do anyway if things carry on the way they are now.

Darka could have taken CE at any day. Talerium could take CE any day...
But warring with CE means Realm X vs. Rest of the continent.

Maybe. Maybe not.
Still better to go with a bang than slowly depopulate via autopausing and emigration.
I said I will leave Caergoth if nothing happens for a few months. I don't even care about the city I own. In fact, I suspect some people use Atamara as a farm, simply increasing family wealth and doing nothing at all.

Things are getting interesting, hopefully they will stay that way.
