The characters have been hired by peasants from a nearby village, who say that the wolves in their area have become so aggressive, they are afraid of going into the forest, even during the day. At night, everyone stays at home and locks all doors and windows, because the wolves are even entering the village. They cannot offer much in pay, but it would be a good deed and wolf fur can be sold good as well.

The forest itself is the first challenge, drenching the characters with a sudden rain and then chilling wind, while the long march if heavy on their endurance.
They cough as they finally arrive, not being used to such hardships.
Everyones toughness attribute is reduced by 1.

The party continues to search the forest, and suddenly finds itself surrounded! The forest is home to some bandits who must have their hideout nearby, because they immediately attack and announce loudly that they intend to enslave and torture their victims.
The party prevails in this battle, though the fight was hard.
The party takes a total of 11 points of damage, in marching order.
Franziskus takes 6 points of damage, minus 3 points of armour, losing 3 hitpoints.
Chuck takes 4 points of damage, minus 2 points of armour, losing 2 hitpoints.
Timothy takes 1 points of damage but his armour of 2 points prevents serious damage.
They gain 50 gold, and each living character gains 250 xp.
After the battle, a total of 5 hitpoints were healed using prayers.

Finally, very deep in the forest, the characters find the wolf lair. The wolves, meanwhile, welcome the fact that food now comes to them instead of running away, and very fast a pack has surrounded the party.
There are too many wolves and not enough heroes, and in this fight of beast vs. men, the beasts win.
The party takes a total of 21 points of damage, in marching order.
Franziskus takes 8 points of damage, minus 3 points of armour, losing 5 hitpoints.
Chuck takes 9 points of damage, minus 2 points of armour, losing 7 hitpoints.
Timothy takes 4 points of damage, minus 2 points of armour, losing 2 hitpoints.
They flee the forest and hang their heads in shame, returning to the town.

And potions work:

Sells Ring of Nimbleness ID#25 to ID#11 for 160 gold
Sells Quaff of Power ID#38 to ID#9,ID#4  and ID#5 for 44 gold

I believe specialising in potions and jewellery is not going to pay off, specially now that other shops have gone with Jewellery as well :(

I think it would be less tedious if we can just put what item we want to sell without putting the price since it is becoming apparently obvious everyone wants to sell their goods for max profit. I think it would be better to only state your item price when you do not want to sell it for max profit at this point.

I have sold generally at 10% markup. Several times I have sold for no profit and even substantially under cost when I was trying to gear up my favourite bands and generate more positive loyalty to me.

Yes, I purposely focused on equipment I though would be both used a lot, and not immediately replaced. I assumed high Loyalty would mean they visit my shop far more often, allowing me to basically control their equipment and set them up to be successful at quests, bringing me more gold :) Certainly the Northmen seem to visit me frequently.

I never added such a function because in the final game, prices will be less obvious. You will have an estimate of the max price you can ask, but not a precise number, and you will take risks, because every time you try too high, customer loyalty drops a little.

The ivory elephants is on the quest Rats in the Basement

The party arrives at the Three Headed Horse tavern and is greeted by Joe and his wife. They explain that there are really big rats down in the cellar, but they cannot afford to leave it like that, it's where they store their food and barrels of ale and wine. The heroes agree to help them out for a small sum, and enter the dark and dusty basement.

Around one corner, the party meets a pack of hungry, aggressive rats. After a moment of hesitation on both sides, the rats swarm the group and attack.
There is a short battle with biting and scratching rats, but with their combined efforts, the party defeats the rats and continues.
The party takes a total of 7 points of damage, in marching order.
Harndorger Ebonrule takes 3 points of damage but his armour of 6 points prevents serious damage.
Matthew Hyde takes 2 points of damage, minus 1 points of armour, losing 1 hitpoints.
Odalbuah Blooddragon takes 2 points of damage, minus 1 points of armour, losing 1 hitpoints.
They gain 10 gold, and each living character gains 100 xp.
After the battle, a total of 2 hitpoints were healed using prayers.

As they turn into a dead end, they suddenly spot the giant rat, the size of a dog. Red eyes glow in the darkness and yellow teeth shine in the light of torches as the creature approaches, growling.
Drawing their weapons, the group prepares for combat just as the giant rat jumps on them. After a few blows and bites, it is over and the beast lies dead and defeated on the ground.
The party takes a total of 9 points of damage, in marching order.
Harndorger Ebonrule takes 3 points of damage but his armour of 6 points prevents serious damage.
Matthew Hyde takes 3 points of damage, minus 1 points of armour, losing 2 hitpoints.
Odalbuah Blooddragon takes 3 points of damage, minus 1 points of armour, losing 2 hitpoints.
They gain 20 gold, and each living character gains 200 xp.
After the battle, a total of 4 hitpoints were healed using prayers.

As they find their way through the basement rooms, suddenly a small draft makes one of the torches flicker and they stop. A quick search reveals a hidden door. Carefully, they open it.
Just in time they see the tiny mechanism that is inside the frame and with some swift fingerwork, disarm it. As the door opens, a vial of poison gas becomes visible above the door. Inside is a storage room with long forgotten valuables.
They gain 60 gold, and each living character gains 100 xp.
All the foes vanquished, the party returns victorious, collecting their promised reward and free drinks for the rest of the month.

The tolim is on the quest The Labyrinth

They arrive at the ruin and everything seems peaceful. It doesn't take long for them to find the entrance that leads down and there is a hole in one wall in the basement, leading into another room with a spiral stairway. Much further down, in the light of lamps and torches, they see a beautiful marble hall with four doors to pick from.

The decide to go north, and as they pass the door, it slams shut behind them. Then they enter the hall of strength, and find a giant stone blocking the exit on the other side.
With combined strength, the push the rock aside and continue.
They gain 10 gold, and each living character gains 100 xp.

After a few turns, they arrive in the next hall. White clouds begin to fill it as soon as they all enter, and a voice speaks: "This is the test of smarts. There is a hidden door, hinted at by the signs on the walls. Find it in time or suffocate."
The ancient symbols make no sense and resemble no known language. They attempt for a long time, but cannot figure out what it all means or how it shows a door. Finally, one by one they run out of breath as the white mist fills their lungs. Just before they pass out, the clouds lift and the voice says: "You failed this test, but you passed the first. Continue and  prove that you are worthy in another challenge."
The party takes group damage of 6 points each.
Genaro Jere Chen takes 6 points of damage, minus 4 points of armour, losing 2 hitpoints.
Itastudd Lakebranch takes 6 points of damage, minus 2 points of armour, losing 4 hitpoints.
Shon Vazquez takes 6 points of damage, minus 3 points of armour, losing 3 hitpoints.
Usaharohr Flamebat takes 6 points of damage, minus 2 points of armour, losing 4 hitpoints.
After the battle, a total of 12 hitpoints were healed using prayers.

In the next room they reach, all doors slam shut as they enter and the ceiling begins to move down. A voice speaks: "This is the test of power. Stop the roof with your combined power, or be crushed underneath." and then falls silent. The heroes brace and push as the ceiling reaches their shoulder height.
Try as they might, they cannot stop this trap, and one by one fall to the ground. The ceiling lands on them and begins to crush them, but then stops and lifts. The voice says: "You fail this task, but you passed the first, so you can continue and prove your worth on another challenge."
The party takes group damage of 6 points each.
Genaro Jere Chen takes 6 points of damage, minus 4 points of armour, losing 2 hitpoints.
Itastudd Lakebranch takes 6 points of damage, minus 2 points of armour, losing 4 hitpoints.
Shon Vazquez takes 6 points of damage, minus 3 points of armour, losing 3 hitpoints.
Usaharohr Flamebat takes 6 points of damage, minus 2 points of armour, losing 4 hitpoints.

The labyrinth continues and finally leads them into a hall with three statues of warriors. As they enter, the door behind them closes shut, and the statues suddenly come alive! With swords and shields made from stone, they attack.
With no flesh to wound nor blood to draw, these stone warriors are formidable enemies, and even though they fight hard, the group gets beaten bloody. Just as the warriors tower above them, ready for the kill, they return to their positions and a voice says: "You failed". Then it falls silent, and the warriors return to their positions. The door ahead stays shut.
The party takes a total of 25 points of damage, in marching order.
Genaro Jere Chen takes 11 points of damage, minus 4 points of armour, losing 7 hitpoints.
Shon Vazquez takes 10 points of damage, minus 3 points of armour, losing 7 hitpoints.
Usaharohr Flamebat takes 4 points of damage, minus 2 points of armour, losing 2 hitpoints.
They return to the town beaten and frustrated.
