Urtagoth loses the duel, but didn't die, just a serious wound. He did lose judge's office, though. Katrina and Hadron both lose more prestige. Aletha's ban went into effect right before the duel. Aletha is also seriously wounded. Not sure if it was the duel, or the battle that she got into with the militia right after the duel because she is now rogue.

The saga continues.

Completely outside the situation here, but wouldn't the best answer be to win ruler so you can't be banned, and then stop running for office, until no one else is eligible?

In a four person realm, you can be protested out of office by a single person. No one is safe. Even a single public protest will cause a loss of prestige.

I am not sure if either Hadron or Urtagoth can be banned. I think they are both royals.

Turns out Urtagoth could be banned which surprised me.

I like to think that Turin getting tortured helped all this  by lowering his honor and prestige.

No, he must not have had Royal status. If he didn't rule very long when he was protested out, then he wouldn't have.
