Cannot Change Account Settings

Used core page to register/login.

Now I get an 'incorrect password' error when I try to change account settings and correctly fill in my password at the bottom.

(This bug was already raised by others on the D-list, just putting it here to (hopefully) prevent lots of reposts of this problem in the forum.)

Yes, it's a known issue. I need to do some changes in the backend handling, and it will take a few days. I think I know what needs to be done.
