Arresting the Judge
« Topic Start: November 29, 2016, 01:11:52 PM »
Should this be allowed to happen? I mean the judge is in charge of all the law, if they're a priest should they even be allowed to be arrested and sent to prison since they control the prison?

Wait, so a realm mate of the Judge arrested him with the Arrest the Priest option?

Yeah.

Granted I can't say whether or not the judgeship was lost another way since you can't see messages that happened before the arrest unless you logged on, but I don't think so.

I don't think this should be allowed to happen. For this particular incident, whoever did this should be punished IC. It basically is treason. Outside this one incident, it should be made impossible to do this. If Chenier is right, that this mechanic needs to be looked over

The following changes have gone live at some point since the previous Recent Changes announcement in late July.
Prevent arresting priest if they are judge of your own realm

So... bug?

Looks like judge was removed by protests before anyone was arrested, so no bug.

You can tell by looking at your public family page, which does not have Judge title listed for your character. And by the family history entry:

that clears that up. So no treason. A little sleazy but nothing actually cheating like.
