New Fame
« Topic Start: December 22, 2016, 02:45:27 PM »
To avoid confusion right off the bat, I am talking about the Fame of single characters, as found in the Information tab. Not Family Fame.

Is there any information on how these stats work? I didn't find anything on the Wiki and a search of the forums has proven fruitless as well. Does anyone have any information? Is it even full implemented?

I like the idea of seeing where I stand against the other nobles of a continent.

To my understanding, it calculates at what percentage you are of the highest value in the category.

Example:

Quote
On East Continent, the highest prestige a character has is 100.

Your character has prestige = 10

Your value in ShowFame would be 10 (%) for prestige.

If you are the one with 100 prestige, the ShowFame will tell you 100 (%) for prestige.

And it does that for all kinds of definitions. (Skills, reputation, lordship,..)
Osgar (Thalmarkin, BT), Jeames (Perleone, EC)
PAUSED: Nasgar (Avernus, DWI), Jari (Outer Tilog, COL)

Aha! That makes more sense. I couldn't make heads nor tails of the honor and prestige numbers. Math has never been my strong suit ;)

Many thanks!
