Yea, first battle, unending wounds.

It wouldn't be so bad if the wounds at least healed. But more often than not, they don't heal, and they seem to worsen more often than they lessen. Normal wound = 4 days out, basically.

Jang is up to 150 messages from her wound and I figure she's got at least two more days on the sidelines. She's gonna have a novel to read by the time she's back!

Yea I got rekt in the battle of Sordidus. About 100 messages unread, despite reading as many as I can. So much out of context, which I'll never unmix.

And Sordidus finally earned its name. (sordidus - lac. dirty, filthy)

At the peak moment there was what - 60-70 nobles in the region? Half of them wounded? Total of 4-5k casualties over the last 3-4 battles?

Looks like Perdan is pretty much dead. One of the dukes just joined Eponllyn out of all places.

No, not just one of their dukes. Their KING just joined Eponllyn of all places.

Why? There's Vix and Highmarch. Just run over Caligus, try to take lands around Karbala and you can have a new agressive realm at Sirion's doors. I would say Vix has been very successful. The problem is that Sirion is so stable that whenever a kingdom dies, they go straight to Sirion, which makes new kingdoms grateful... well, some time gratitude must goes away. Maybe it's a matter of waiting or changing the mentality of the players. More allies, less war.

I do not know if Sirion being Sirion is worse than what happened to Perdan.

North already had a pretty big numerical advantage and now that Bescanon is theirs including its 15k militia the entire backland of Vix/Highmarch is open plus the difference in nobles widened further.

Well, it's time to put someone out of the game or negotiate a ceasefire. Garas don't have a Queen in Nivemus?

Sirion have a lot of regions in terrible conditions. My char already tried to convince Ivo to give him some people to take care of the lands, but I don't think they care while the cities doesn't starve.

I think you can truly feel the current state of the game from the current war. There is a big shortage of people to fill the regions. So many regions are left unattended.

Yup. Though it's also partly due to nobles being concentrated in the wrong places. Sirion has lots of nobles but it still has plenty of rogue regions because its leadership is rotten.

Meanwhile realms like Perdan would probably be fine if they just had a few more nobles.
