Meanwhile on Beluaterra

Tam rode through the dusty streets of Wundekin, his arm in a sling. A vicious monster even by its own kind had taken a hold of it and broken it right in half before he could dispatch of it.

Walking is his wake was what was left of his men, some wounded others happy to be alive, and in total they amounted to eight. Tam felt despair take hold of him again.

What was the point, it never ended …

Tam came back to himself as his horse stopped moving, a massive group of peasants was in the city plaza listening to a priestess. Tam let her voice carry him away, he closed his eyes and her voice washed over him. For the first time since the invasion of the Hordes he felt at peace.

Tam didn’t know how long he sat there in his saddle, but when he came to again the crowd had dissipated and only a few were in the center plaza surrounding the Priestess.

He spurred his horse closer to her.
