With the overhaul of messages that I'm working on, I think doing something with the signature to make it easier to tell the diplomatic relations of other realms relative to yours will be somewhat easier.
I can investigate whether coloring the realm name with their diplomatic status (enemy, peace/neutral/own realm, ally, federation) would be feasible and look OK.
