Holy Man

(1/2) > >>

Gildre:
In the Information tab, under Fame, and Deeds, there is a ranking for Holy Man. Two of my characters have founded religions, but one is at 50 and the other is at 100. Both religions have about the same number of nobles, and the character whose Holy Man is at 50 definitely has more followers.

Anyone have any reason what the cause could be for the difference?

Also, the one with 50 is on Dwi, and the one with 100 is on Colonies. Perhaps religion is more dominant on Dwi, so the new religion doesn't stack up as much as the new religion on the Colonies?

Anaris:
All Character Fame ranking numbers are relative to the continent. I don't know offhand what the Holy Man numbers in particular represent, but nothing on that page can be meaningfully compared across continents on an absolute basis.

Chenier:
I've... never heard of this fame. Not sure Fame was around last time I founded a religion. I've got an elder priest and a head of religion (not founder), doesn't appear on either.

Gildre:
When I hover over it, it says "You have founded a religion". What confuses me is how it can vary. It only mentions founding the religion, it doesn't seem to take into account how successful the religion is, or if it does it gives no indication.

Mysteries within mysteries lol

Probably how successful those religions are relative to the other religions on the continent. "Measured by followers through time" would be a likely metric, given how most of the other fame values go.
