After more walking than Kyomi would have preferred--perhaps it was the shorter legs--they finally arrived at the throne room. Kyryn Kye JeVondair's announcement of her arrival, for all it's decorum, went mostly ignored by the daimoness, the urge for her to step forward as well. Like the palace, it wasn't one of those things she really cared for.

"Greetings Kyomi and welcome to D'Hara and to Port Raviel! Greetings! I am happy to finally see you once again!" Pawl Paxwax said, with a strong confident voice, all while looking Kyomi straight into the eyes. Was he challenging him? Wait... were they secretly lovers, too? No, that didn't seem likely, though Kyomi did admit that she hadn't seem them argue yet. That was, in her experience, the best time to get to know someone: when they're arguing, with you or someone else.

"And welcome back Sir Kyryn Kye. Thank you for being kind enough to escort Kyomi through Port Raviel. This is certainly appreciated, by both myself and Kyomi, I am sure." Pawl continued, switching his gaze over to Kyomi, who had yet to let go of Kyryn Kye JeVondair's hand.

"Kyomi," he spoke, finally actually to the petite daimoness, "I am sure you must be tired, thirsty and hungry. Please join me for dinner, as my servants have prepared quite a feast for us. Let us eat and drink and talk some more, so that we can get to know each other better. After all, we didn't really had the occasion of doing that well enough back when I was visiting your people in Nightmarch."

The petite daimoness, cocked her head to the side a bit, thinking about what he said, and the room they were in, and who all was there. Pawl seemed to think himself equal with her, while superior to Kyryn, if she had followed what was being said properly. Kyryn, on the other hand, seemed to think himself inferior to them both.

"Hmm," she intoned, thinking for several more seconds after the sound left her.

"Kyryn Kye JeVondair shall join us." Kyomi declared with the voice of a six year old girl trying to sound serious, stepping forward and pulling Kyryn along with her, "Certainly, the hospitality of D'Hara could accomodate another guest at the table, for his presence would be beneficial to my investigation."
"Behavior that's admired is the path to power among people everywhere"
