Nah, just get a Planetary Defence, build 1 scout a turn once he reaches your planet, wait until you can build a big enough fleet to defeat his remainders.
Also, I've updated the first page of this thread with everyone's locations. Could only update my post, so it's a few posts down, but at least we've got an up-to-date table of names now
