Number of men/women in unit

Hi all,

Just wondering if the Captain in a unit counts towards the total number in the unit or is it in addition to the total number of the unit?

The Captain is something of an abstraction—to the extent that they exist in-game as a person, they count as one of your soldiers, and will always be the last one left.
