Title says it all... I think it would be interesting to allow infiltrators the option to break into temple/guildhouse treasuries and count/steal the gold the way they can do it to tax offices now.

temples? only if there can be some sort of heretic / whatever declaration against such infil if actions discovered .. especially in regions of high following.

other than just the bog standard bounty that is.

Should be fun--infiltrator could risk having 2 or 3 realms chasing him if he robs the wrong religion.

Tom

yes, all for it - after the current big changes.

Sacha

Sweet... that gives me the time to train my infil a bit more before I start hitting the fatcat guilds  ;D

I do like the idea.  I'm also for expanding all their actions.  Why not let them steal from other nobles?

JPierreD

This partly solves the problem of having Guilds and Temples used as Banks, now that they are even less safe.

Well, if infils ever get the option to rob nobles, perhaps uniques should be included. I.e., an infil breaking into a noble's tent looking for gold would have a small chance of finding any uniques the nobles has. But, I do think it would have to be quote difficult to pull off.

Yes it should be very difficult, i also don't think any sane noble would have his unique item laying around his tent...

Gold is anonymous. Unique items are... unique. Wouldn't it be /quite/ shameful to let people know you acquired the stolen item of another Lord?

Depends. If one of my knights stole a highly valued item off a hated enemy, I'd shower him with praise. It would be on par with taking a Roman legionary eagle standard.

JPierreD

True, and being those items public as they are, it would give good RPs, casus belli and even accusations of treason. Sounds good to me.
