And so far as that elves rule goes, it appears as though any character created first in Sirion, so long as he/she stays in Sirion, can be an elf. So I guess they magically become humans when declaring a separate political loyalty. lol, Elven race must be a dominant political party of Sirion or something.

My understanding of the Grandfather rule was that any character that was a elf when the new human only rule came in, could remain a elf so long as they remained in Sirion. Generally the idea of a "Grandfather" rule is that over time the new rule will replace the old. Thus in this case I suspect the original intent was the remaining elves would die out and elves in general be removed from the game.
However that has not been the way people have played, and thus we find ourselves with a glut of elves, all with nice RP that would be trodden on if we turned around and said, those pointy ears are so obviously fakes.

That's actually a quirk of the non-human suspicion that I hadn't considered.  We'll see how the people running the Path now handle it.

Who IS running the path now. I'm a elder and I have no idea if any of the other elders are really doing anything, with the exception of Cadfan who seems to be frothing at the mouth and yelling about removing a cancer every other day.

No reason for that, we have several elders, a good income stream and if needed experienced priests. The question is more if anyone has the motivation to keep it going if Koli doesn't.
