I have noticed some of the recent updates on the testing Islands, mainly Dwilight as that is where I have a character. I have some qualms about said updates, the messaging system in my opinion is atrocious and a large majority of the players in my realm and across Dwilight that I am in contact with agree. They have also said and I am inclined to agree that the Takeover systems spam the message board like crazy, it seems a wee bit excessive to me and I am not sure I understand the thought process behind the updates and changes, perhaps the code is being tested as a "beta" if you will, and that is all fine and dandy but I dont think it is going to work on any other islands seeing as it is not working on the test islands.

Thanks for your feedback. You will find several specific topics on the various subjects, why don't you add some constructive thoughts there? "is atrocious" doesn't tell us what you feel is wrong with it, if you let us know in more detail, we can work on it.

Suggestion: compile takeover actions and report them in a bullet list at TC, instead of individually when they happen. Add a sticker of "please don't spam this to the realm" like civil work has.

Recommendation: don't bother the knights with food trades. I know you want them to be more involved with their region, but it's hard enough to get lords to care about food, I very much doubt more than a fringe of the knights in the game care about this stuff.

That's why knights have NPC staff to deal with it. >.>

I find it much more tedious to use, especially when roleplaying. I have been used to using the basic HTML codes such as italics and bold..etc and I feel that it interrupts the flow of my writing and makes the message system look more like Microsoft word than Battlemaster's original message system.

I also find the Dynamic map update to be very difficult to use, let alone load. I like the idea of the color overlay with the different display options I just think that it might be more useful in the political map rather than Dynamic. The political map should display the political alliances and status of realms rather than the Dynamic. I find the dynamic map more useful for determining military and casual actions.

I just noticed this fact as well, in the new messaging system the spell checking function does not work as it used to. In fact it makes it quite difficult to see the spelling errors and fix them..

Now this may be there to promote proper spelling and grammar but it may also be a bug that is worth looking into. Just some food for thought..

PLEASE read the existing threads. This is a known issue and the work arounds for the various browsers exist. What browser are you using? For Chrome at least it is as easy as crtl+right click to get the spell checker.

Apologies, where might I be able to read the threads?
